1. Booking & Service Confirmation
1.1. All bookings are subject to availability and must be confirmed via phone, email, or online booking platforms.
1.2. A booking is only considered confirmed once you receive a confirmation message via email or SMS.
1.3. We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason, including safety concerns or inappropriate behavior.
2. Payment & Pricing
2.1. All fares are provided in advance during booking. Additional charges may apply for waiting time, extra stops, or any requested service not covered in the initial quote.
2.2. Payments can be made via cash, credit/debit card, or other approved payment methods. Full payment is required at the end of the journey unless otherwise agreed.
2.3. In the event of a dispute over fares, our decision will be considered final.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
3.1. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee.
3.2. Refunds for canceled services will be processed within 7 working days, subject to our discretion and cancellation policies.
3.3. If the driver is unable to locate the customer at the pickup location due to insufficient details, the booking will be considered a “No Show” and may be subject to a charge.
4. Passenger Responsibilities
4.1. Passengers are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and lawful manner during the journey.
4.2. No smoking, consumption of alcohol, or illegal substances is permitted in the vehicle.
4.3. Passengers are responsible for any damage or soiling to the vehicle caused during the journey, and may be charged accordingly.
5. Luggage & Personal Belongings
5.1. Passengers are responsible for their own luggage and personal belongings. Lichfield S&N Taxi is not liable for any loss or damage to items left in the vehicle.
5.2. For safety reasons, the driver may refuse to carry items that are too large, heavy, or deemed hazardous.
6. Delays & Liability
6.1. We strive to be punctual, but cannot be held liable for delays due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic, weather conditions, or road closures.
6.2. In the event of a vehicle breakdown, we will make every effort to arrange alternative transportation at no additional cost.
6.3. Lichfield S&N Taxi will not be held responsible for any direct or indirect losses, including missed flights, meetings, or appointments due to delays.
7. Safety & Child Seats
7.1. Safety is our priority, and seat belts must be worn at all times during the journey.
7.2. Child seats are available upon request and must be specified at the time of booking. Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that the child seat is correctly installed.
8. Changes to Bookings
8.1. Any changes to the booking, including pickup or drop-off locations, must be communicated promptly. Additional charges may apply for route changes.
8.2. Lichfield S&N Taxi reserves the right to alter or cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, with alternative arrangements made where possible.
9. Complaints & Feedback
9.1. We value your feedback and strive to improve our services. Any complaints should be directed to our customer service team within 24 hours of the incident.
9.2. We will investigate complaints thoroughly and aim to resolve any issues in a fair and timely manner.
10. Privacy & Data Protection
10.1. Any personal information provided during the booking process is protected under our Privacy Policy and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
10.2. We may use your contact details to send service updates, promotional offers, or other information related to our services.
11. Governing Law
11.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the UK courts.
